Mobile data in Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is covered by Claro with 5G in San Juan and 4G across Rincón, Ponce, El Yunque's edges and the main roads. Vieques and Culebra have signal in the towns and gaps on the beaches; El Yunque's trails are quieter.
- Puerto Rico is a US territory — a United States plan does not automatically cover it. This plan does.
- Old San Juan, Condado and the airport are well covered; Uber works on data.
- Bioluminescent bay tours in Vieques and Fajardo are at night and out of range — book online beforehand.
- El Yunque rainforest has signal at the visitor centre and gaps on the trails. Download maps.
